The fold over cards measure 3-1/2" x 4-7/8"Inside of the card reads: "May God keep you in His care, and grant you peasce and happiness always. Congratulations and Best Wishes."
On the back of the card reads "The First Holy Communion took place on Passover (Holy Thursday) when Jesus sat with his Apostles also known as The Last Supper. "And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave unto them saying, This is my body which is given up for you: this do in memory of me." (Luke 22:19). In the early Church at Jerusalem, the faithful received every day (Acts 2:46). Later on, however, we read that St. Paul remained at Troas for seven days, and it was "on the first day of the week that the faithful assembled to break bread." (Acts 20:6-11).
